Store credit, done the Shopify way.
Mint Store Credit issues credit, gives cashback on paid orders, credits whole customer segments and refunds orders to store credit, on Shopify's own store credit accounts, with a ledger that matches Shopify's records.

Everything store credit, in one place
For returns, goodwill gestures, loyalty rewards, launch credits and cashback that brings customers back.
Credit goes into the customer's Shopify store credit account. Shopify shows it at checkout and in the customer's account, and it stays there if you ever uninstall.
Find a customer, enter an amount, pick a reason and an optional expiry date. Shopify can email the customer. Every change is in the ledger.
A percent or a fixed amount back, with a minimum spend, excluded products or customers, and a waiting period so returns are handled first.
Everyone with a tag, a customer segment or a CSV of emails. You see the exact count before anything is sent, and each customer is credited once.
Pick the items on an order and Shopify refunds them as store credit, with an optional bonus on top. The refund is recorded on the order.
Each credit shows Shopify's transaction ID and the balance after it. If Shopify doesn't answer, the app checks Shopify's records before it ever sends again.

Questions merchants ask
Where does the store credit live?
In Shopify. The app uses Shopify's native store credit accounts, so the balance is part of the customer's Shopify account, shows at checkout and is kept if you uninstall the app.
Do customers need anything special to use it?
Shopify lets customers spend store credit at checkout when they're signed in with the new customer accounts. The app tells you if your store still uses the classic accounts.
How is cashback calculated?
On the order's items after every discount, counting only units still on the order, in the currency the customer paid in. Gift cards, shipping and products you exclude never count. Refunds during the waiting period lower it; after it's issued, refunds can take it back.
Can a credit ever be sent twice?
No. Each credit has its own key in the ledger. If Shopify doesn't answer, the app looks the credit up in Shopify's transaction list instead of sending it again.
Do you charge per order or per credit?
No. One flat monthly price billed by Shopify, with no fees per order, credit or customer.
What happens if I change plans?
Cashback already promised is still issued and refunds still take cashback back. New orders earn cashback on Pro and Plus, and rules a lower plan can't run are paused and kept.
